Silver Streak

Silver Streak kits were highly regarded for the quality of the silk screen painted sides and metal castings. Six cars are available: a WFEX truss rod reefer and GN caboose are built; 50' GN auto box and a truss rod work car are partially built; 2 WFEX reefers truss rod are untouched kits.  As far as I know the kits are complete but that is not guaranteed.  The cars are at the opposite end of the spectrum from 'pristine'.   Look closely, as these cars are offered 'as is' with no warranty.  They do present an opportunity to put a piece of equipment on the layout that you can say you built or rebuilt.

Juneco

Three craftsman kits of Canadian cabooses were made in Canada and have been out of production for decades. With care, these kits build up to cars that rival brass imports.  There are two CNR and one CPR model kits offered.

Ambroid

Ambroid is a legendary name in quality wood and metal kits.  This kit is for an NP 25 foot caboose.  Instructions and NP decals are included and as far as I can tell all parts are in the box, ready for several evening enjoyable work finishing this classic.  With slight modification this kit also build into an early GN 25' caboose.

Ulrich

Ulrich kits were all metal and these eight have been built but not that well and a couple are not finished with parts still in the box. Others may have parts to be re-glued.  There are five hoppers, RI, B&O, LV, 2 Milw and three drop bottom gondolas all lettered for GN with individual numbers.  All have good rolling Stromberg plastic trucks and Kadee couplers.  The cars are at the opposite end of the spectrum from 'pristine'.   Look closely, as these cars are offered 'as is' with no warranty.

Labelle

36' wood truss rod stock car that has been started but not finished. As far as I can tell all parts are in the box, including instructions, ready for several evening enjoyable work finishing this classic.  The cars are at the opposite end of the spectrum from 'pristine'.  Look closely, as these cars are offered 'as is' with no warranty.

Vintage

These ten built cars are placed with the kits because all require some finishing work.   These vintage kits from a variety of manufactures are being offered as a single lot.  Some are wood and metal kits, some have paper sides, others are early plastic and metal cars. Two have speakers in them, as a early experiment with PFM sound.  Most have Kadee couplers and either metal or plastic trucks.  The cars are at the opposite end of the spectrum from 'pristine'.   Look closely, as these cars are offered 'as is' with no warranty. Again, they all need some work.
