CPR N-2  2-8-0

Canadian Pacific had over 100 N-2 class consolidations built between 1910 and 1914 by Montreal Locomotive Works and the Canadian Locomotive Company numbers 3600-3699 and 3750-3760.  The came with both open and vestibule cabs, had 63" drivers, 43,300 pounds tractive effort and 190 pounds boiler pressure. The class saw service on every part of the CPR at one time or another.

This Van Hobbies import models the vestibule cab version. The engine runs fine and has a new can motor. I purchased this engine new and it is unpainted, test run only.  Also included is a decal set produced by Van Hobbies for this model. She is perfect for either a small switching layout or a mainline pike.

Original box and foam.
